Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

...of tequila for every time the word "epic" was used on my birthday cake by commenters, I would be at least as drunk as Travis Willingham.

Thank you to everyone who has commented and favourited the cake - I will get around to thanking you individually, but I currently have 336 Alerts! If I thank all of you at the same time I think I'll kill my internet and get told to stop spamming people. But I will get to you all, gradually.

In just over 24 HOURS that cake gained more favourites than the cake for my 15th birthday has in three YEARS.

The other thing keeping me away from saying thank you is this dreadful essay I have been drafting. I have exceeded my word limit, not covered all the topics I feel are relevant, haven't explored or analysed opinions or technique, and I don't think the essay has ended up being about what I intended to talk about at all. BUT I HAVE SOMETHING TO HAND IN TOMORROW. AND THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS.

I have no idea how many times this thing has made me want to start crying this week. I've been ridiculously tired and stressed, and I'm only a week into school. I honestly don't think my hands have stopped trembling since Saturday. I've also managed to mutilate my fingers more than usual, keep on knocking stuff over, forgetting anything in my short-term memory and completely lose my maths/logic head.

I must be tired.

On a positive note, the peer supporting stuff is going okay at the moment, and to be honest, I have a hell of a lot to be grateful for. Yesterday I went out for a walk by the river to clear my head after spending hours researching, and I just sat down on a bench and prayed to say thank you for what God has given me and also what he has taken away, and to say sorry for stuff. I felt a little better in myself afterwards, but still had a headache.

So... Yes. This weekend I have Music School

and I'm going to London for a BBC BLast course on manga character creation - and I also need to finish the art hw I didn't get done for this week. I'm not going to get any rest until after Christmas.

Oh... and anyone else watched Ponyo, Paprika and the full 2hr version Akira? Any opinions on them? I've watched them all in the last week, and while I came away with the feeling that they were good... they were definitely weird too. I'd like to hear other people's thoughts (dub or sub, I'm not bothered).
