Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

I'm going to be seeing LK tomorrow... HELL YES. The birthday card is done, and now I just need to work up the courage to give it to him. The prospect of going up to him terrifies me at the same time as being really cool... I'll probably be okay once I'm actually there. The anticipation's always worst. And I'm wearing my "My voice gives me super strength!" t-shirt.

This is the first time since turning 18 that there's been an 18+ thing I wanted to do... this con is 18+.

I'll post the scan in a day or two.

So I'll be in London most of tomorrow... Barely done anything useful this weekend, but I don't actually care at the moment.

The crit went okay, I guess... I didn't exactly get feedback on what I need to do in my book. But I think she was fairly pleased.

It's not been a great week... but I've survived, as usual. I always do. Getting to chat to lovely people at horrible times of day always makes it better.

Alright, I'll try to remember to post an update about the con sometime this week.

LK is the abbreviation for LittleKuriboh, the creator of the parody series Yu-Gi-Oh! the Abridged Series. I don't know how well known it is in Germany... especially since it's in English.

Yes, it's probably the same kind of thing.

And the convention was 18+ because there was alcohol being served at the venue, not because of any particular guest.

His parody is mostly pointing out how silly the series is, although there is some perverted humour too. The swearwords are censored.

Aww~ I don't have a social life APART from my music life, singing in choirs and rock groups, playing in orchestras etcetera. And I spend so much time shifting chairs and tables for events I certainly have SOME strength. I'd rather show off the voice than the strength though.

And yeah, I'm really pleased with it! Here's hoping I can give it to him.
