Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Anyway, announcement: I plan to launch the Rainbow Cards scheme on 20th July with the fully-done-up CSS, commission info and FAQs. The commissions will be taken on a slots basis, opening on July 22nd. All the cards bulleted below will be available as cards (single or in bulk), as will the designs be for recolouring. I will also be taking commissions for original designs.

There will be a small revamp of the gallery, with the "SAMPLE" mark being placed on the images to help reduce the chance of you just stealing them and printing them out yourself.

I hope that some of you may be interested, or that you might spread the word; these might not be what you're interested in yourself, but I'm sure that there are parents with little kids who think they'd be just right. I may make a facebook page to make it more accessible - I will also be hosting images on my formal tumblr.

_{In other news, I conducted the orchestra for the Wizard of Oz at school for the best part of five hours today.

WHAT. I HAVEN'T EVEN CONDUCTED ANYTHING BEFORE I JUST GOT ASKED TO DO IT BECAUSE THE TEACHERS WEREN'T THERE. I'M MEANT TO BE PLAYING VIOLA. I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A SCORE I ONLY HAD THE VIOLIN I PART.

I haven't physically hurt this much in YEARS. Having a heavy cold does not help.}

Ah, thank you - I think we need all the well-wishing we can get! The proper conductor was back today, which is good, but all the teachers were telling me how pleased they were with me and the violinist who was helping me out.

I think I've stopped streaming, and now I just need to get my voice back properly and get my nose un-gunked.

Yes! We're doing the stage production of the Wizard of Oz and because our school has the musicians available, the students are providing the orchestra too. It wasn't too much of anything because I had a job to do and I had to help run a long, important and stressful rehearsal. It took me a little while to settle down with it, and I was more worried about messing up the tempo changes and getting the players to play in time than about whether or not I looked silly! And no, I didn't have a baton - for the most part I just used my hands, and a pencil once or twice when I forgot to put it down before we started.
