Really, it has been. It's nice.
But firstly:
Welcome to all of my new watchers!
I really appreciate all of you coming to look at my page, and I sincerely apologise for not getting around to thanking you before now. Exams really got the best of me in the last few weeks, and I intend to make a start thanking you for all the watches, favourites and comments in the next couple of days. In particular, welcome to the Potato family and the Gabolitha Nilsone mafia! I love all you guys so much.
I love all my watchers!
Secondly: my exams are
done! They were done last week, but I've been kind of busy since. C3 was good. C4 I have no clue how it went. Really, I don't. I think it was okay, but I've no idea. Music was a stinker of a paper. I then took Friday off and didn't do much apart from play Pokémon Black, which was my post-exams treat to myself.

Saturday was some Summer Festival of Music that they do with the Music Service... I had OAMS in the morning and the festival in the afternoon, so I was on my feet for most of 8.15-5.15, and working with kids for a good six hours of that. And I didn't even get paid!

Sunday was okay I guess, but I still think my choirmaster's an idiot for not thinking that some of us might not have transport to an irrelevant festival more than 100 miles away.
Thirdly: I will be taking commissions for rainbow cards, starting at some point in the next few weeks. I need a little time to organise my things and get set up, plus I have a lot of artwork to produce over the next few days. In fact, the slight delay will allow for two more cards to be added to the range!
And then today was awesome, apart from the very hot weather.
I continued working on a present for somebody. I don't think the recipient watches me... but, my mafia brethren, I hope you will like what I make too. I've drawn it and scanned it and messed around with perspective and flipped it and printed it and inked it and YEAH. It pales in comparison to the intended recipient's amazing-ness, but I hope it will bring a smile to her face.
I had to cycle to school with a violin AND a viola. That wasn't awesome.
Went into the Art department to ask if
my final piece was going to be put on display at Arts evening this Friday, and my teacher just smiled at me and said, "It went really well." I thought she meant my exam (which had gone well) and then she told me that the examiner was really amazed that they were doing degree-level work with A-level students, and that he'd been really impressed with everyone's work. So that bodes very well for me! I saw some of my stuff which had been put up on a wall too.

I messed around with some improvising, though I didn't record it.
String Orchestra rehearsal at lunch was good.
I did some writing for my story.
Wizard of Oz rehearsal went pretty well, even if about half the orchestra was missing. We didn't get through the whole of Act One, as intended, but only got through Scene One.

Oh well, not our fault.
I spoke to my Music teacher about the paper from last week, and she agrees with at least five of my answers for the listening part of the paper. I'm so happy! But the questions were awfully ambiguous, I was really just going on gut instinct.
And then ~
Samy-Sama finished her half of the art trade we arranged, which I still need to do.

IT'S SO CUTE.

Um. Anything else from today? I don't think so. I'm going to bed soon.
Arty plan for the week:
Finish this present and hopefully upload it tomorrow.
Finish the birthday card for my best friend on Wednesday and give it to her that evening.
Finish the birthday card for another friend on Thursday and post it to her for Sunday.
Do the art trade with Samy on Friday.
How is everyone? I always do such massive journals... Oh well.
Love and prayers,
Lutra xx
