Okay, I've had this done for a little while. It's a gift for ~Masako-kun who some of you may know as MasakoX, the guy who did Naruto the Abridged Series and the voice of Goku, Gohan and Master Roshi in Dragon Ball Z Abridged, among many other things. I've been a fan of his work (at least what I knew of it) for several years, and he and his friends have made material that has cheered me up during many tough times - most recently, the death of my friend Caitlin. And I wanted to say "thank you".
So I did the thing I'm best at.
Rainbows.
But seriously though: I really enjoyed doing this. It was a challenge - even moreso than that picture I did for LittleKuriboh - because of the differing styles of art and the sheer number of characters I wanted to put in. But it was fun, and I'm glad I did it. I managed to give it to him today (thank you ~Quina-chan and ~mopsy747 for grabbing me when he came past!) and he liked it. He tweeted it later.
I have been grinning like a Cheshire Cat all afternoon, according to my friends.
On the back is a lengthy, awkward but heartfelt message to him. What or who he chooses to share it with is up to him.
Thank you, Masako.

With regard to the actual picture: ~ Kakashi has his milk ~ Goku has learnt how to make muffins (I have a recipe for nutritious muffins - as in they actually have the appropriate food groups for a whole meal - which I can give you if you ask) ~ Helvidius, a character from Masako's story, is hoping to have a muffin. Is this out of character? I don't know, the published parts of the story haven't reached him yet and there's nothing in his character page to suggest he would dislike muffins. ~ Gohan is attempting to destroy The Log. ~ Sasuke is glaring at Gohan as The Log is Sasuke's mortal enemy ~ Hinata is watching the proceedings
And who knows about the background.
All characters picked are either voiced by Masako or belong to him.
Kakashi, Sasuke and Hinata (c) Masashi Kishimoto Gohan and Goku (c) Akira Toriyama Helvidius (c) ~Masako-kun and *Dawnrie
Thank you very much! I really liked the designs and I wanted to include something from PJ as it looks so interesting. I know we haven't actually met Helvidius yet, but I thought he'd fit in best out of the trio you've posted most art for.
That's very kind of you to say! I'm still working on painting cartoon-people with watercolours, but I've been doing those rainbow-backgrounds for a few years now.
Aw, I appreciate that Helvidius was put in there to begin with! I think it's a good portrayal of him, even without knowing what his character is like. Mad props .
Oh, it's no problem! I envy people that are amazing with traditional mediums <3. So awesome.
Oh, that's even better! I was a little concerned he might be out of character. There must have been something in the art you've done of him that gave me some guidance.
Well, we all have our strengths and weaknesses! I've always been more comfortable with traditional. My spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination when working with the tablet aren't as good as when I can feel the paper/canvas under my pencil/pen/brush, thought I'm slowly improving.
