Well, this pales in comparison to =Gabbi's art. But I'm still fairly pleased with it.

Happy birthday, Queen =Gabbi! I hope you like it. I had "Do a Frost fanart involving a blue rose" on my to-do list for the summer, and your birthday presented me with excellent reason to get on with it!

The character is Rowan Linder, from her comic Frost: Part 1, Part 2. He's supposed to be sitting in Yule Apfel (name by ~IceFennek), but as I had no colour references I had to make them up; I used the orange-red and green from her character, Daeng Lek, who owns the café. And he's holding out a blue rose, because red roses signify that you want to kill someone, whereas blue ones are romantic. Who's he holding it out to? You decide.

This was... challenging. But fun. I spent so much time flipping and redrawing and scanning and printing and ARGH and I still think something's wrong with the head. Oh well. I'm pleased with the perspective work. And the pose, and the rose. Ooh, rhyming.

Playlist: As the title may suggest, Eric Saade's Manboy was playing for a significant portion of this. And the song is a bit of an in-joke for Gabbi's livestreamers.
