I painted this on the 6th August for my friend who had her 14th birthday on the 7th (same as dA!). I used this stock image as my reference; my thanks to ~Nylak-Stock for that.
Did this using water-colour pencils, outlined in art pen. I painted it a little more darkly than the original image, as I felt it wasn't showing up well enough; the scan made it even more saturated I'm afraid. The backing is just pink card from a stationery/art shop. Original image (c) ~Nylak-Stock Bleh... the pinkness! *shudders* |
