Minor Edit: I would like to have to thank each and every one of you for each and every on these cakes. But I do not have the time - I've just started university, and I'm fortunate enough for these to have become extremely popular. I cannot spend all my time clearing out the favourites! So please, accept my heartfelt thanks NOW. They wouldn't be doing so well without you. I wouldn't have the DD without you. So thank you.
Replies to comments made on my deviations will go on as normal. I like talking to you guys!
Now back to my main comments.

YAY I you Edward Elric. I decided aaaages ago that he would be on my cake this year. I freaking designed it about two weeks ago, and I've been waiting to just do the damn cake. That was the only bit of my birthday I was particularly interested in.
Anyway. Edward Elric, in chocolate, for my pleasure. Done using the same techniques as in my tutorial. Managed to screw up his right eye, but hey.
Is is freakin' 16 now. *headdesk* And I have homework to get on with too.
Birthday report: Lots of money Nice top CD of Le Onde, played by the composer Ludovico Einaudi. My parents and I prefer the way I play the pieces, but hey. Book about otters from my bro. Went to see a family friend for the first timein about seven weeks, which is nice. Annoyed everyone by repeatedly singing songs from Younha's new album Painted the cake in the afternoon. Wrote more of my fanfic, which now has a title: Telepathy (so I nicked the title from my new fave song, so what?) Had a little party tea, but it wasn't anything at all special. Didn't want much special. Had cake. Still have all of him left over. Watched Shrek the Third with my family. Went to bed.
It was very nice.
Thanks to everyone who sent their birthday wishes.
Saw this. Saw your tutorial. Is fighting urge to go and and spend a fortune making a cake. Failing badly at that too. I've got my recipe book looking over which ingredients/equipment I need to buy.
Maybe. When I make cakes it's usually a spur of the moment thing. Last year I woke up, felt like making a cake, and spent about twenty quid on cake tins, hand mixers, hand blenders (pulverising an orange is the most cathartic thing ever)and all that sort of stuff before even buying the ingredients. Most expensive cake ever but great fun.
I see. I brought most of my equipment from home and picked up a couple of things at bric-a-brac sales in the union, so I have all the basic equipment. And if I want more, well, tough.
I didn't think to bring anything home and, as I mentioned, it was a spur of the moment decision. Woke up wanting to bake a cake, was out in town later that day and saw a cake tin, and then proceeded to go on a cake making spending spree.
